Last month, the Bill which would ban greyhound racing in Scotland was introduced to the Scottish Parliament.

Greyhounds at demonstration outside Scottish Parliament

It was a landmark day, following years of campaigning and strong public demonstrations of support. Alongside nine greyhounds rescued from the racing industry, we took to Parliament to welcome the Bill.

Regional support for an end to greyhound racing

Ahead of the introduction, Unbound the Greyhound coalition member GREY2K USA commissioned polling that demonstrated the support for an end to greyhound racing within each of the 8 regions of Scotland.

Each region showed majority support for an end to racing, with 68% of Scots overall supporting an end to greyhound racing.

Where does your region stand?

The Scottish public have spoken. Most constituents from every single region in Scotland support an end to greyhound racing.

Now it is time for the Scottish Parliament to act. We need to make sure that as many MSPs as possible support the Greyhound Racing (Offences) Scotland Bill to ban greyhound racing.
