  1. About us

Our team

At OneKind we have a small team who make a big impact with the help of our incredible supporters.

Jason Rose - OneKind CEO

Jason Rose, CEO - Jason joined OneKind as CEO in July 2025 following three decades of senior level roles in communications, campaigns and public affairs.

He previously led the advocacy work for a national development body in the culture sector. Before that, he managed campaigns and political engagement teams at RSPB Scotland, and was Head of Media for the Scottish Greens in the Scottish Parliament.

Jason has a lifelong passion for animals, having started his career as a radio journalist, covering wildlife and farming issues. In recent years he has chaired a community campaign to protect the internationally-important Musselburgh Lagoons wildlife habitat from development.

He also has experience on the boards of charities, having served as a trustee of East Lothian Play Association and as a director of Stop Climate Chaos Scotland.

Jason lives in East Lothian with his wife, daughter, and their rescue cat Millie.

Eve Massie - OneKind campaigner

Eve Massie Bishop, Head of Campaigns and Media - Eve joined OneKind in July 2019 and has 10+ years experience in campaigns, research and legal roles with both national and international animal welfare organisations. She also has a LLB from the University of Glasgow’s School of Law.

Eve is responsible for delivering OneKind's campaigns, securing media coverage, managing the social media channels and producing supporter communications.

Kirsty Jenkins - policy officer

Kirsty Jenkins, Director of Policy  - Kirsty joined OneKind in 2020. Previously she worked with horses and people to help them understand each other, and to help horses navigate a human world. She also has some practical experience with wild, farmed and companion animals, and has an MSc (Distinction) in Animal Behaviour and Welfare.

Kirsty keeps track of changes to the Scottish and international animal welfare landscape to inform our campaigns, and works with partners to try to influence legislative change.

Get in touch with Kirsty at: [email protected]

Pauline Robertson, Office Manager - Pauline has been part of the OneKind team since 1982, taking on a full-time role after completing her education. As an animal lover, it was a perfect fit and Pauline has been with OneKind ever since.

As Office Manager, it’s Pauline’s role to ensure the smooth running of the office, and she manages all of OneKind’s finances, processes and systems. Pauline works closely with all other members of the team, providing necessary support for campaigns, investigations and fundraising.
